Spark Change. Ignite Innovation
VentureSpark is group of disparate thinkers that brings together people, technology, companies, universities, researchers and government to create innovative solutions to hard problems. Our mission is to spark change and ignite innovation that delivers real value.
We'd love to hear from you if you need support planning or executing a venture aimed at innovative solutions to hard problems. Particularly in these areas:
• renewables and low emissions technologies.
• medical science.
• value-add in the agriculture, forestry and fisheries sectors.
• value-add in resources.
• defence capability.
• enabling capabilities like cybersecurity, ai, and quantum computing.
Australia ranks just 23 for overall innovation out of 133 nations; we can do better than that but it takes collaboration on a national scale.
VentureSpark is here to make that collaboration happen.
Australia ranks just 93rd for economic complexity, a key measure of potential for economic growth. Economic Complexity is a measure of the diversity of our skills, industries and knowledge. VentureSpark can help improve ours by bringing ecosystems together.
On this year’s run rate, only a quarter of the $10 billion invested by VCs in 2021 will be available to founders this year. Money is only one tool used to build new ventures, VentureSpark will bring together all the tools necessary to drive innovation.
What We Do
At VentureSpark, we help turn innovative ideas into successful ventures by connecting support in product development, market research, technology, and fundraising.
We believe in the power of community to drive innovation. That's why we connect opportunities, partners, capability, and resources to help entrepreneurs thrive.
We co-create with businesses, universities, and government agencies to develop and implement innovative solutions to real-world, social and environmental challenges.
